This site is linked from the Moscone Center website (San Francisco Convention Center) to sell product in the San Francisco region. The site is a one stop shop for Moscone visitors to find accommodations and other necessities for the out of town convention attendee.

June 28, 2010 - Taste of Lodi is now live at http://tasteoflodi.com. The event takes place on September 26th, and is one of the area's most prestigious food and wine events. This extraordinary event features over 40 award winning Lodi wineries along with food selections from some of the area's finest restaurants and caterers. There are wine seminars that take place throughout the day, chef demonstrations, and live music.

June 11, 2010 - ARES welcomes ExperienceColumbus.com to the affiliate family. The Greater Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau has chosen the ARES booking engine to sell hotels, attractions, air and car along with using ARES' proprietary packaging solution to sell their Roar & Explore hotel packages featuring the Center Of Science and Industry, Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay waterpark.

April 5, 2010 - Sign On San Diego ( www.signonsandiego.com ) is now selling the San Diego region through the ARES booking engine. SignOnSanDiego.com is the website for the oldest business in San Diego County and the oldest newspaper in Southern California, The San Diego Union-Tribune, with over 31 million unique visitors annually.

March 4, 2010 - ARES has partnered with the Williamsburg area marketing task force to provide their site visitors with the ability to book hotels, attractions, packages, and deals. They are interested in providing a one-stop shop for consumers to book travel to a major East Coast leisure destination. January 12, 2010 - ARES welcomes The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (http://beachboardwalk.com) as an affiliate partner. This 102 year old seaside amusement park has claimed the "Best Seaside Amusement Park" award from the Golden Ticket Awards, the most prestigious awards organization in the amusement industry. Offering guests modern and classic thrill rides, restaurants, miniature golf, video game arcades and family bowling, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk continues to be one of the largest draws along the California coast.

September 28, 2009 - The Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitors Bureau has selected ARES as the service provider for its online reservations solutions. ARES has integrated its booking engine on the Bureau's official travel portal, http://visitaggieland.com, including lodging, air and car rentals. The Bureau will also leverage sales opportunities and provide enhanced customer service support using ARES' in-sourced Call Center. The Bryan-College Station CVB is the newest member of the ARES Travel Network in the State of Texas, where ARES' distribution has grown substantially over the past year.

August 13, 2009 - ARES has been selected by the City of Santa Clarita to provide online and telephone reservations solutions with a full range of products including hotels, attractions, packages, cars and flights. July 2009 - We are proud to announce that ARES has completed a net rate integration with La Quinta Management, LLC. With more than 65,000 rooms and 700 hotels, La Quinta Inns and La Quinta Inns & Suites are two of the most established names in limited service accommodations. May 6, 2009 - ARES' booking engine continues to gain popularity with event sites across the country. As our first Texas based Affiliate, Corpus Christi is the longest undeveloped barrier island in the world and offers year round beaching, festivals and sporting events. April 22, 2009 - ARES and the Environment News Service have launched Green Hotels Directory. As the first OTA with a Travel Green program designed to assist travelers in identifying sustainability in the hospitality sector, ARES joined forces with ENS to develop a comprehensive website dedicated to earth conscious hospitality. April 1, 2009 - ARES is pleased to announce a live integration with the Jacksonville Convention & Visitors Bureau's website, http://www.visitjacksonville.com/. With a colorful and captivating design, the Bureau's site is both engaging and functional. The ARES booking engine is displayed prominently within the user interface for easy access to travel planning and purchasing. A large collection of vacation packages are used to promote value and highlight the Best of Jacksonville hotels and attractions.

February 20, 2009 - ARES welcomes the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association to the ARES Travel Network. The integration of ARES' booking engine on http://baltimore.org enhances the Association's website which is rich with information. Vibrant neighborhoods, arts and culture, the Port of Baltimore Cruise Terminal and world famous Maryland Crab feasts are just some of the things that draw visitors to Baltimore. A Travel Planner, interactive map tool and calendar of events make planning a visit to Baltimore fun and easy. The ARES booking engine allows visitors to browse and purchase travel products online and the site will be supported by ARES' central reservations Call Center.

February 6, 2009 - The ARES Travel Network continues its expansion in the East Coast region of the United States with the addition of the Richmond Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau. The ARES booking engine is now fully integrated with Richmond's official online travel portal, www.visitrichmondva.com. The Richmond Bureau is also using ARES' reservation call center for telephone sales and customer service via a dedicated toll free number attached to the website. With the live launch of the reservations technology comes a new 'Travel Green' enhancement that includes the famed Jefferson Hotel which has been certified by the Department of Environmental Quality as a 'Virginia Green' business.

January 10, 2009 - Visitors to Monterey County can book their vacations online any day of the week. ARES' proprietary booking engine and reservations services are now live on Monterey County Weekly's website. The area's largest circulation newspaper offers a visitors guide, tips about local hot spots and now a host of booking tools for hotels, rental cars, packages and attractions. Monterey is a favorite destination for travelers, complementing ARES Travel Network's rapidly growing distribution along the Northern California coast.

October 30, 2008 - The ARES Travel Network is a little brighter today. ARES has been selected by the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide online and call center reservations for www.visitphoenix.com, the area's official travel site featuring a calendar of events, mapping and cultural content under the brilliant tag line Shine On.' A hot bed of tourism, Phoenix is a favorite go-to for golf and spa vacations, art lovers getaways and those looking for a landing pad from which to explore Arizona's rich landscape. With the addition of ARES' booking engine and call center features, the Bureau now offers hotels, attractions and car rentals for purchase and packaging.

September 19, 2008 - ARES Travel Network expands to St. George, Utah. St. George has joined the growing number of geodomain sites using ARES' proprietary booking engine to power their travel product sales. As a new Network Affiliate, www.stgeorge.us now offers hotel, car and airline reservations online. A dedicated toll free customer service number also displays on the website, allowing ARES' call center to provide additional sales support for the destination. St. George is home to SkyWest Airlines and is best known for its outdoor recreation. Golf, theatre and beautiful red rock formations attract visitors year round.

September 15, 2008 - Excitement erupts as ARES welcomes the Redding CVB. Home to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Redding is a city with a fiery past and bright future. Located in Northern California's Sacramento Valley, it is a gateway city to and from the Cascade foothills and a popular place for conventions, tours and the film industry. By integrating ARES' reservations technology, the Bureau's travel portal, www.visitredding.com, now offers visitors the ability to plan trips and purchase lodging, rental cars and flights online.

May 2008 - ARES and Hilton Hotels Corporation recently solidified a decade long relationship by entering into a direct connect agreement which will integrate the companies' reservation technology. Direct connect integrations allow online travel agencies access to hotel rates and inventory without having to manually manage them at the property level. The enhancement also allows Hilton Hotels to increase their distribution while maintaining the integrity of their brands.

February 13, 2008 - ARES is pleased to announce that we have added additional Six Flags Amusement Park websites. New to the ARES family is Six Flags Over Georgia, Atlanta and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio which now brings us to a total of 12 of the Six Flags theme parks.

November 20, 2007 - The Southeast Tourism Society (STS) and ARES have partnered to offer the 11 member states in the southeast ARES' advanced reservation ecommerce platform. October 29, 2007 - Welcome to a new affiliate, Greater Washington Sports Alliance. As the regional sports commission for the Greater Washington area, one of Greater Washington Sports Alliance's goals is to brand Greater Washington as a sports destination. October 2, 2007 - Chicago Plus, the Chicagoland Regional Tourism Development Office has partnered with ARES to power the Visit Chicagoland website. This portal covers all areas within 60 minutes of Chicago and partners with 16 Convention & Visitors in the area.

September 27, 2007 - The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau is the latest affiliate to join the ARES team. August 2007 - ARES and Best Western Worldwide have entered into a direct connect agreement that allows ARES to pull rates for hotels participating in the Global FIT Program. The agreement does not exclude hotels from also participating in ARES' Flexible Net Rate Program and accessing the ARES Extranet. Both options give hotels flexibility in managing their rates and inventory and taking advantage of a range of benefits the partnership provides.

June 29, 2006 - The Portland Maine CVB in partnership with YPI chooses the ARES Booking Engine to power VisitPortland.com. Providing consumers discounted online hotel reservations, activity ticketing, dynamic packaging, rental car and airline reservations to visitors of this fantastic destination.

June 13, 2006 - Yankee Publishing Inc. selects ARES to develop its New England Travel Network! Advanced Reservation Systems Inc. enters into an agency relationship with Yankee Publishing Inc. to provide industry leading booking engine technology on NewEngland.com and other leading New England destination Web sites. Yankee Publishing now has the ability to offer online hotel reservations, activities, dynamic packaging, rental cars and air ticketing to destination marketing organizations throughout the greater New England area.

June 2006 - The first company to participate in a global agreement with ARES, the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) has accredited ARES to pull inventory through integrated technology; expanding the range of lodging options for our Affiliates, the ARES Travel Network and, most importantly, travel consumers. With 7 popular brands and 630,000 rooms worldwide, IHG is one of the most prominent and trusted names in lodging.

March 17, 2006 - The Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau has selected Advanced Reservation Systems Inc. (ARES) as its official Hotel Reservation, Attraction Ticketing and Vacation Packaging provider. The implementation of the ARES services are scheduled for an April 1, 2006 launch on www.choosechicago.com and www.877chicago.com. This new partnership further expands the ARES footprint as a national leader in providing travel reservations technology and services to DMOs and the tourism industry at large.

November 2, 2005 - ARES has been selected by the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau to provide online travel reservations, activity ticketing and packaging on San Francisco most popular destination web site, www.sfvisitor.org. Over the coming months, ARES will work in partnership with the bureau on a number of exciting packaging initiatives and promotions featuring Bay Area hotels, sightseeing attractions, and tours featuring products that are available Only In San Francisco.

October 5, 2005 - Today, ARES and the State of California jointly launched a new state-wide travel reservations program on www.visitcalifornia.com . Visitors to the nations most popular tourism state can now plan their vacations online using the ARES reservation system. Each major tourism region is comprehensively covered with hotel and attraction offerings from Southern California to the San Francisco Bay Area and all points north and in between.

August 3, 2005
- ARES is pleased to announce a new partnership with The California Travel and Tourism Commission (CTTC) to provide its online reservation technology to benefit the travel industry of the State.

California is the number one travel destination in the nation and the states tourism web site, www.visitcalifornia.com is the most visited state site in the nation. ARES is working closely with the State of California to help develop the top state travel booking site.

The CTTC chose ARES for its proven experience, flexibility in working with lodging properties, and their ability to provide dynamic packages including attraction ticketing via their print@home e-ticketing technology. Lodging properties have the ability to sell and manage the yield for lodging, attraction, and event and activity inventory through the ARES travel network. Through this extensive travel network in California, including several destination marketing organizations, ARES offers significant exposure to our travel service partners including hotels, attractions, tour companies, and other destination service partners.


July 18, 2005
- ARES completes agreement with Pegasus Solutions, Inc to participate in the Pegasus Net Rates Program, enabling ARES to pull net rates from the major hotel chains (including hotels utilizing Pegasus' Utell) through the Pegasus switch, providing ARES' distribution partners with more inventory and providing an additional way for participating chains to provide room inventory through the ARES Travel Network.


July 11, 2005
- SACRAMENTO - The California Hotel & Lodging Association has partnered with Advanced Reservation Systems (ARES) to provide its online reservation technology to the benefit of CH&LA members, as well as all lodging properties in California. CH&LA will soon utilize ARES' proprietary reservation and dynamic packaging software to offer a comprehensive array of lodging, activity and tour products to their customers.
